Statue of Liberty is the first thing crossing my mind when I think of New York, it is one of the most famous landmarks in the world no doubt. So it should be listed on to-do list for people who is first time visiting New York City. 

The Statue of Liberty is a huge sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, this statue was a gift to the United States from France; it is an icon of freedom and democracy.

Some information about visiting here :

1. Admission to Liberty State Park is free, but you have to buy a ferry ticket to get there .

2. The security there is strict - you have to pass the inspection before you taking a ferry and another inspection before you entering the statue.

3. You can also enter the Ellis Island Immigration Museum on the Statue of Liberty.
