Ten minutes from the Yu-no_Kawa Onsen tram stop, the Yunohama Hotel offers a Japanese onsen experience that is affordable for anyone. Rooms, mostly in Japanese style, but with some offered in Western and Fusion styles, are rustic and open, and are perfectly suited to the seaside setting. The main draw of the hotel is certainly its extensive spa – seven hot-spring baths are offered, including one salt-water bath crafted of solid wood overlooking the wild and beautiful Tsuruga Strait. Of course, the hotel also offers several different Japanese meal courses crafted from local seafood and delicacies: a sushi course, a tenpura course, etc.. So, if you’re looking for a full onsen experience that doesn’t break the bank, look to the Yunohama Hotel.
